New World Day — a “science-fiction thinking” special one-day event for middle schools. We compare how seemingly impossible science-fiction concepts from the past have become reality. The students are encouraged to come up with "wild ideas" that can solve today's issues. We sketch and eventually create 3D prototypes. This hands-on learning event gets students excited about choosing “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) careers for their future!
